On Page SEO (also known as On Site SEO) is they process of optimizing web pages to rank them higher at SERP and drive traffic. On Page SEO includes doing keyword research and then optimizing SEO Title, Meta Description, URL, Internal Linking and other. Moreover, on page SEO helps search engine to understand that content is relevant and useful to users.


Why On Page SEO Optimization is Important?

On Page SEO helps search engine to understand the content or web page by optimizing title, meta description, URL and other. Whereas, it improves crawling and indexing of the web page done by robots, crawlers or spiders. However, with on page optimization like well internal linking and URL helps bots crawl and index easily which improves SERP ranking. Additionally, doing natural and proper keyword stuffing in some places can benefit you in visibility and ranking.

Better content organization or structure increases user experience which engages audience and improves readability. Loading speed of the webpage should be great because slow loading speed increases bounce rate. You should consider metrics like search volume and keyword difficulty.

In On Page SEO, an optimized and click worthy title can increase your traffic on web pages. SEO Title is a clickable headline shown on the top of the snippet. It should primarily include focus keyword and some secondary keywords with high traffic. Title Tag length should be under 55 to 60 character and unique to avoid content duplicacy. It should be descriptive, engaging and click bait as it will increase click-through-rate  (CTR).

3. Optimizing Meta Description

Meta Description is a short summarization of web page. It appears below the Title in the snippet. Meta Description should be under 155 to 160 characters. Therefore, primary keyword must be included naturally in meta description. The meta description should be actionable as it increase the CTR and indirectly affects SEO.

Header Tags are used to structure the web page and helps search engine should able to understand the different sections of the web page. H1 Tag should always be the main  title which should include primary keyword. H2 and H3 Tags are needed to be used for sub-headings as secondary keywords should be included. Moreover, it improves the readability and differentiate between the section on the web page.
